Student Loan Repayment Grant for Men
Hamilton County men (19 years old or older) can apply for this one-time $1000 Student Loan Repayment Grant. Whether it is for a federal student loan or a private student loan, this grant will be paid directly to the loan company. As a fraternal organization, Avon-Miami Lodge #542 strives to make good men better. And becoming debt free can better the life of the winner and his family.
Applicants will need to show how they have been working hard to pay off their student loans, show proof of employment for longer than 6 months, and proof of degree/certification completion. Applicants will be required to provide 3 referral letters, a written essay and participate in an interview (in person or online). Application deadline is December 31st.
Avon-Miami Lodge #542 and their partner charity, Avon Miami Charities, will make decisions made by the end of March and award presented by the end of June. Awardees will be invited to the Avon-Miami Lodge #542 Awards event to accept the award.
Higher Education Scholarship
Hamilton County Residents (17 years old or older) can apply for this one-time $1000 scholarship for any higher education program. Whether it is for a university or certification program, awardee can use this scholarship (paid directly to the school or program) to pay for their tuition.
Applicants will need to show their involvement in clubs and/or organizations, describe their employment in the past year and show their involvement in volunteer activities. Applicants will be required to provide 3 referral letters, a 30 seconds introduction video, a written essay and the online application form. Application deadline is December 31st.
Avon-Miami Lodge #542 with their partner charity, Avon Miami Charities, will decide the winner by the end of March and award presented by the end of June. Awardees will be invited to the Avon-Miami Lodge #542 Awards event to accept the award.
